At InVia, we take to heart the scripture in James 1:27 – “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” This command is to reflect the very essence of God in Psalm 68:5 – “A Father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling.”
We believe that God’s essence and command to His followers are to love thy neighbor as yourself, particularly those that are the most vulnerable in our society.
